Hello art lovers!
This Saturday, from 11-5pm is Go West Craft Fest :D (cue Emperor's New Groove moon walk dance..whoot!) It is a beautiful day in West Philly at the Woodlands filled with artists and community members. There are local vendors with handmade goods, art pieces, cards, soaps, clothing, essential oils, hand spun pottery... simply loads of amazing things and amazing people.
It's one of my favorite events of the year because of the amount of artists and community members it brings together and it's set IN THE WOODS :D!! There are also a handful of local performers who will be providing music and entertainment throughout the day. (Last year, there was a traveling trapeze act that brought a whole set up to do trapeze in the park! It was amazing!) I will also be stepping away from my booth at 2pm to perform a set. It's going to be a great time!
Peer Artist Workshop! If you are looking for some hands on art this weekend, a friend and artistic peer- Laura Sallade- is hosting her first watercolor workshop this Saturday from 2-4pm! It will be held in her beautiful, creativity inspiring studio- all materials, a piece you create, a print of Laura's work, plus pie & tea included for just $40! Take a look at her Instagram for a sneak peak! Learn more here: www.laurasallade.com
Please invite any friends who might be interested to both these amazing events and we'll see you Saturday! (There are two beautiful flyers below to share).
Happy Hump Day!
*Above is a piece from my new collection titled "Reef" now on it's way to it's new home in Austin, TX! In love with its playfulness and vibrancy. I'm collecting inspiring images of nature for this collection. Please send any my way if you'd like to see what they inspire!
