CONCEPT

Watercolor workshops invite participants to be present in the venue, engage with the shop/collection, find joy and connection, and become comfortable with the illusive medium of watercolor through guided exercises and a project prompt.

Workshops are all inclusive with materials provided by Vessna Scheff, and often include a special touch collaborative element with the host/venue- such as a flower if hosted at a flower shop, cup of tea at a cafe, or glass of wine at a winery- included in the ticket price.

Ticket price and split is determined with venue.

BOTANICAL WATERCOLOR WORKSHOP

Learn how to metaphorically water your plants ;) and unwind through an afternoon of botanical inspired watercolor painting!

Drawing inspiration from the gorgeous greenhouse brimming with botanical shades, textures and pops of color, we will…

• explore how to draw from observation (it’s actually about trusting what we see)

• create a unique color palette using color mixing that is inspired by our selected plants and vantage points

• experiment with techniques for capturing emotion in watercolors while learning to love the process

You’ll leave with 3 unique watercolor palettes, 3 botanically inspired greeting cards, and a final piece to decorate your home or gift!

All materials are provided- just bring yourself and an excitement for the possibilities of watercolor! So excited to create together in this special workshop! This workshops is designed for non-artists and complete beginners- no prior experience required.
