2024 STUDIO LETTER & OFFERINGS

Dear amazing friends & fam,

As I will begin my final year of my 3 Year Adjunct Lecturer Teaching Fellowship at Brown University (woot woot!), I am building my practice with the goal of becoming a full-time artist at the end of this coming school year- May 2025. The support of my friends and family has been ESSENTIAL to making every step possible throughout my career and I am excited to be preparing for this next big moment. With exciting projects underway in the studio (including an album drop later this year! and some amazing projects I can’t yet share the details of), I am building out my calendar for the next year to give me a running start into May of 2025.

One if the biggest questions I am asking myself in preparing for this step is: How many people know I make art and am available to buy work from or create custom pieces? haha sounds basic but having people know about me and why I create is the first step in being able to create a sustainable practice as an artist. As much as I am aware of all that goes on in my studio, it doesn’t mean anyone else has any clue what I actually do. Think of that friend who, if someone asked, you still couldn’t exactly describe what their job is or what they actually do.. haha I have friends who do amazing things and sometimes I could use a one-pager on exactly how astounding they are at their jobs!

So! I created my artist one-pager with the most direct ways to support my practice as an artist. It would mean the world to hear any questions you have so I can refine this, and if you could recommend my work to a few friends who would be super into it.

COLLECT WORKS: I have works in the studio ready to go to their forever homes. If you know someone looking for a beautiful piece to fill a wall and make a statement, please forward this their way.

COMMISSIONS: I am also scheduling out commission pieces. These can be of family, pets, or an abstract work. The special thing about commission is they are inspired by your story.

BECOME A PATRON: The last but most profound way to support is be by becoming a Patron through a platform called Patreon.
